MARIAH CAREY GETS COZY WITH A KOALA

After a busy promotional tour for "American Idol," Mariah Carey went for a little rest Down Under. During her trip to Australia, she met a furry fan at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. New mom Carey dished that she wanted to bring the koala home to join her bundles of joy. (People Pets) 

HOLLY MADISON MOVING OVER DOG HOUSE DISPUTE

Holly Madison is in the dog house with the Home Owner's Association (HOA) over a dog house. The reality star and mom to be revealed that she is moving due to issues with HOA. Madison has received numerous fines for erecting a large pink doghouse in her backyard for her three pooches. Not want to deprive her dogs, Madison is hoping to move somewhere with neighbors that will accept the structure. (SF Gate)

ANNALYNNE MCCORD DEBUT CAT HAT FOR CAT DANCE FILM FESTIVAL 

Felines are flocking to Utah with famous folk for their own festival. The Catdance Film Festival is kicking off this year with the help of Fresh Step. AnnaLynne McCord is getting in on the action debuting an adorable, knit cat-eared hat for the event while she introduces the five films picked for the festival. Cat lovers will be able to get the hat for themselves, with proceeds going to the ASCPA. (Fresh Step)

KALEY CUOCO SAYS NO TO DOGSHAMING 

"Big Bang Theory" starlet Kaley Cuoco had some fun with the Dogshaming trend. At the People's Choice Awards she shared a humorous PSA asking dog owners to keep their dog's bad behavior to themselves. The animal lover asked that instead of outing our dogs, we should just love them for who they are. (Zap2It)

GIRLS ALOUD SINGER SARAH HARDING HAS A PET PENGUIN

Elvis lives again! Girls Aloud member Sarah Harding has adopted a penguin through the London Zoo and named him Elvis. The facility offers honorary penguin adoptions, meaning Harding won't really be bringing the bird home to meet her other pets. Instead, her donation well go to making Elvis's life at the zoo even better. (Ahlan Live)

IAN SOMERHALDER GIVES OUT "50 SHADES OF GREY" FOR A GOOD CAUSE

Ian Somerhalder is willing to do just about anything for the animals, including give up his copy of "50 Shades of Grey." The actor offered up his personal copy of the novel as a potential prize to fans who donated to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. The charity has multiple projects working to protect the world's animals. (Ecorazzi)

DAVE NAVARRO POSE AGAINST ANIMAL TESTING FOR PETA

Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro stripped down for a good cause. The rocker posed to help PETA bring an end to animal testing. Navarro hopes the ad raises awareness for how animals are blinded, tortured, killed and poisoned in labs every year for cosmetics. (USA Today)

WOODY HARRELSON FIGHTS AGAINST FUR

Woody Harrelson lent his voice to a video speaking out against fur. The clip shows a girl "killing" stuffed animal foxes in various ways, to inform viewers how animals are brutalized to be used in fashion. Harrelson hopes the spot encourages designers to think twice before using fur, now that they are faced with the cruelty it can bring. (Express)
