IRISH SETTER
Irish Setters rose to fame in the 18th century throughout Ireland and the British Isles. They were primarily used as hunting dogs, but were also known for their playful personalities and beautiful coats. Notable Irish Setter owners included Clark Cable, Olivia Newton-John and Richard Nixon. While they are a well-known dog breed, they have fallen in popularity over the last decade. This may have to do with the fact that Irish Setters require a lot of care — they are extremely energetic and require plenty of exercise. Their gorgeous red coats also must be groomed regularly.
