Shetland Pony Rides German Subway
the daily dish
Subways around the world are known for attracting a wild element, but the German S-Bahn took things a step further. According to the The Mirror U.K., a Shetland pony recently accompanied one rider onto the mass transit.
The animal was spotted patiently riding the rails in Berlin. Onlookers were quick to whip out their smart phones and snap the pony passenger. Everyone who came across the animal on the train said the pony was well-behaved and added some fun to the typical commute.
Those in charge of the S-Bahn were not as amused. A spokesman said that the odd event may seem like a good laugh, but things could've easily gotten out of hand, especially if the animal got loose. It is believed that the Shetland pony was part of a circus in the area.

From my partial view of the photo, I thought it was Donald Trump's toupee. I understand, however, that animals were harmed in the making of that hairpiece.
