Having a personal stylist has its perks, even for dogs. According to the Daily Mail U.K., Echo the Boston Terrier has some of the best pet costumes, thanks to her crafty owner.
-
Echo's owner, Kristin Kittle, makes all of the costumed canine's outfits especially for her. Kittle also creates suitable sets for Echo's photos, so she can really get into character.
-
Kittle was playing doggie dress-up for fun, and she had no idea Echo would become such an Internet sensation.
"We had no idea what it would turn into, or how recognized Echo would become. We have actually had people say they recognize her from the Internet," Kittle told the Daily Mail U.K.
-
Each year, Echo is treated to a new outfit, chosen by Kittle and her team. The group is professional about their decisions—brainstorming, researching fabrics and studying props.
-
"The process of creating it is trial and error. I begin by taking basic measurements, drawing out a pattern and cutting the basic bodice of the costume, depending on the overall look we are going for," Kittle shared with the Daily Mail U.K.
-
The final version of Echo's outfit is always the one that is most comfortable for her to move around in. Once the pooch goes through her final fitting, she is taken to the set for her annual photo shoot.
-
Kittle believes it is the backdrops that have set Echo's pictures apart. Plenty of pet people post photos of their furry ones in costumes, but few are this dedicated.

Once the photo shoot is over, the process begins again immediately. Kittle, Echo and the rest of the team never stop brainstorming how to make next year's photo even better.

December 11 2012 at 5:20 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyYou couldn't possibly know if they donate money, raise money or volunteer and how they spend their money is none of your business anyway. These costumes might cost $15-$50. How do you know they don't buy them on clearance or on sale? How do you know that every time they shop at their local pet food store and buy a costume they aren't also donating to whatever local charity the store is promoting at that time? How do you know anything? Shame on you for being so judgmental. These aren't people who bought a beautiful mansion and knocked it down because they wanted a different view. I doubt your perfect.
