The Phoenix Zoo's new baby zebra is currently nameless! Help name the adorable striped baby who resides in Arizona.  

POLAR BEAR FEAST

Siki the polar bear eats one of his three delicious peanut butter treats smothered with Cheerios and marshmallows at the Louisville Zoo in Kentucky. Mmm! 

VICTORY SWIM

At the Peru Organization for Research and Conservation of Aquatic Animals, two little sea lions named Camilo and Alex stand at the bow of a boat before diving into the ocean off the coast of Lima. They were found injured around a month ago. Now, they're healthy, happy and ready to enjoy their new life!

ALL THE SMALL THINGS

This adorable baby sifaka is not so small anymore! He is pictured here with his mother at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens in Ohio. So sweet!

TURTLE FROM THE BRONX

A Bronx river turtle shows the camera some love. A group of experts are working together to help restore the Bronx River in New York to make a healthier habitat for all living organisms.

NEW BABY IN TOWN

At the Oregon Zoo, elephant mama Rose-tu spends some quality time with her baby calf, Shine. The youngster is slowly going to be introduced to the rest of the herd. We wish them all the best!

Beautiful Sally the orangutan enjoys a yummy snack as she celebrates her 45th birthday. Happy birthday, Sally!

Four lion cubs at the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Washington, had their first vet exam. The lovely little lions are healthy and robust, weighing about 9 pounds each.

MISS WILLY

William, the green iguana enjoys her new heat lamp to stay nice and toasty during brisk days at Drusillas Park in the U.K. Previously, William's records had indicated that she was male—however, she is in fact female!

A diver attempts to catch a sick swan near the village of Shvaby, so the bird could safely be transported to an unfrozen lake near the Belarus capital.

LET IT SNOW

At the Colchester Zoo in Essex, England, Nagari the spotted hyena cub enjoys his first encounter with snow! He enjoyed romping around and playing in the beautiful, cold, white dusting.

FEARLESS FRIENDS

Reptile expert Orazio Martino shows off a 23-year-old Mississippi alligator, Blacky, at his home in Dietzenbach, Germany. Martino is well known for his exotic shows and private zoo.

DEAREST LITTLE DEER

Only seven zoos in Europe have scimitar oryx deer, and this young female calf at the Prague Zoo in the Czech Republic is the first of its kind in seven years. Proud parents Roxana and Lucius must be pleased!

COCKATOO CHRISTMAS

At the Taronga Zoo in Australia, Marco the cockatoo enjoys a Christmas tree crafted by the Behavioral Science Unit. The tree is used to keep the animals mentally and physically stimulated.

PRETTY & POT-BELLIED

In Hamburg, Rosengarten, a cute pot-bellied pig poses pretty for the camera at Schwarze Berg Animal Park.

SAVE THE STRAYS

In Dobrnja, Bosnia, animal activist Aldin Pasic carries a stray dog to safety. Nearly four years ago, Bosnia passed a law where the killing of stray dogs was supposed to be banned. Unfortunately, the city of Sarajevo has become the only place where the law is respected. 

LOVE & BETTY

At L.A. Love & Leashes in Los Angeles, California, Betty White attended an event celebrating the shop's 400 successful adoptions. The charity is hoping to get as many pets as possible into loving homes for the holiday season. 

FOX & HOUND

Blakely the dog is a great companion for many animals at the Cincinnati Zoo. Today, he is having a ball with a bat-eared fox named Penelope.

In Dubai, Michelle Wie rides a camel on the beach at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa. The 2012 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters was held on December 2, 2012. Looking good, Michelle!

WILL YAWN FOR ANTS

This is what it looks like when a baby anteater yawns! Little Zola was born on September 27, 2012, at the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson, Arizona. Too cute!

BEAUTIFUL RHINO BABY

There are now two healthy male rhino calves at The Wilds in Ohio. The most recent birth was an Indian Rhino, born on October 14. How adorable is he?

PENGUIN PAINTING PARTY

At the National Aviary in Pennsylvania, penguin cuties Kaden and Elvis dipped their fins in paint and had some fun. You can purchase your very own penguin painting at the gift shop!

A HELPING HAND

A sweet baby sable antelope is fed by zookeeper Martin Damboldt at the Berlin Zoo. The mother of the baby antelope stopped feeding the youngster, so zookeepers began helping out with a daily drink of milk from a bottle.

MONKEY ORANGE

A hungry monkey sits on top of a car and feasts on a delicious orange in New Delhi. New Delhi's monkey population continues to grow, and monkeys continue to be fed, as a Hindu tradition calls for feeding them twice a week. 

BIRTHDAY WOLVES

These two beautiful maned wolves turn two today! Check them out at the Philadelphia Zoo in Pennsylvania.

BONGO BABY

At the Zoo Atlanta in Georgia, Matilda the gorgeous Eastern bongo gave birth last night. It's wonderful that a new member of a critically endangered species is welcomed into the world. Woohoo!

TEENY TINY GOELDI

At the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C., two male Goeldi monkey brothers arrived this past summer. They weighed only 21 ounces each. So small!

HEY BABY 

A brand new male Hartmann's mountain zebra foal was born at the Blackpool Zoo in the U.K on Monday morning. The mother and baby are both doing very well. 

BUBBLE BLAST

Thanks to Minnesota Zoo members, an exciting bubble machine was purchased for the Amur tiger cubs — and they can't get enough of it! 

TINY TAWNY FROGMOUTH

At the Taronga Zoo in Australia, a Tawny Frogmouth chick that fell out of a tree is being cared for by nurses at the Wildlife Hospital. When the little chick fell, it was attacked by magpies. Fortunately, the little fella was picked up by passersby. Looks like the youngster is in good hands now. Phew!

PAWS UP FOR THE TOP DOG

At the Top Dog Gala in New York City, a service dog named Oprah has a meet 'n' greet with Army veteran Will Pagan and Beth Ostrosky Stern. 

SENDING WARM WELCOMES

Pandy the black-footed tree rat is a new resident at the Taronga Zoo in Australia. Very little is known about this precious species, but Pandy seems to be quite happy and outgoing. Adorable!

SO LONG, TUCSON

At the Reid Park Zoo in Tucson, Arizona, two African lion cub brothers pose pretty for photographers. The boys will be transferred to Colorado's Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in late December. They will be missed!

A baby sloth is hand-fed by Lynn Reynolds at the Exmoor Zoo in the U.K. What a lucky woman!

In Tönning, Germany, an aquarist wearing a Santa Claus costume feeds fish at Multimar Wattforum. 

ICE, ICE BABY

The water on Lake Montagnais in Canada has turned to ice, allowing the geese able to walk directly to their winter quarters. Careful, guys, it's slippery!

POPES AND PURRS

In Rome, at the "Pilgrimage to Rome" festival, the Pope strokes a lion cub in front of thousands of people. Adorable!

NAME ME, PWEEZ?

An adorable baby elephant looks cute for the camera at the Oregon Zoo. The elephant staff at the zoo have chosen five baby names, and they're asking for the public to vote online for the one they like best.

Japanese Princess Aiko poses with her pet dog at the Tokyo royal residence. Check out how dignified that pup looks!

THREE'S COMPANY

At the White Oak Conservation Center in Florida, three adorable cheetah cubs were born last Monday. These youngsters mark the center's 144th, 145th and 146th births. Congrats, little cubs!

TREATS FOR ME?

A cute flying squirrel has discovered treats in his stocking at the Tennessee Aquarium. The Yuletide treats were enjoyed were grapes and apples. Bon appétit!

HOME SWEET HOME

At the National Zoo in Washington, D.C., a Rüppell's Griffon Vulture named Tuck is getting acclimated to his enclosure. The birds have their feathers trimmed so they are unable to fly. Otherwise, they are capable of flying 36,000 feet. 

SAVE THE SILVERY

At the Bali Zoo in Gianyar, Indonesia, a silvery gibbon holds her two-week-old baby close. This beautiful species is critically endangered due to commercial deforestation. Sadly, only 4% of their native habitat is available to the species.
