At the Taronga Zoo in Australia, a Tawny Frogmouth chick that fell out of a tree is being cared for by nurses at the Wildlife Hospital. When the little chick fell, it was attacked by magpies. Fortunately, the little fella was picked up by passersby. Looks like the youngster is in good hands now. Phew!

At the Bali Zoo in Gianyar, Indonesia, a silvery gibbon holds her two-week-old baby close. This beautiful species is critically endangered due to commercial deforestation. Sadly, only 4% of their native habitat is available to the species.
