Tinker the Mini Horse Rings Bell for Salvation Army

It's that time of year again, when your chances of being greeted by a bell-ringing Salvation Army team member in front of the grocery store are high. But the likelihood that this person is not actually a person at all, but an adorable miniature horse instead is pretty slim - unless you live in Wisconsin, according to Teddy Hilton.
Carol Takacs decided to put her miniature horse Tinker to work, helping raise money for the Salvation Army. Takacs speculated that Tinker would be the ultimate fund-raiser, making bell-ringing a little more interesting, and boy, was she right.
Tinker, a 13-year-old miniature horse, has raised ten times more money than anyone else. "A good kettle for a couple of hours brings in about $250, and for the same time period (Tinker and his owners) have been known to bring in $2,500," said Salvation Army Major Roger Ross.
The beloved charitable horse has been ringing for four seasons. Way to go, Tinker!
