    Humans were not the only ones affected by Hurricane Sandy. Thousands of pets were displaced due to the storm. People everywhere are banding together to do their part and come to the rescue. From the ASPCA to the Humane Society, animal relief organizations are arriving in devastated areas to transport homeless pets to safety. Click on to see some of the most touching moments of humans risking their lives to save their furry friends.

i would like to get one of the dogs . but i have one an i can take one with out knowing if it would get along with the rescue dog i have .

He/she had a owner but maybe they didn't have a owner and they live outside and they have no food and they were ourtside in the cold. But some dogs or cats can died of the cold ,food or if they have a mother and she died because of the cold the dog or cat might died because they lost there mother.

Awesome, where and to who do I send a donation? Who need the money the most? No animals should be euthanized during this time of disaster.
