Trainer Kim Jong-Gap stands with Koshik, a 22-year-old male Asian elephant at the Everland Zoo. He is no ordinary elephant -- researchers say that Koshik can imitate several words using his nose, trunk and mouth, mimicking numerous Korean words which are understandable to visitors.

Due to big winds over the weekend, two tawny frogmouth chicks were swept out of their nest in Dundas, Ontario. Lucky for them, the two were quickly rescued and taken in for care by one of Taronga Zoo's keepers.
