SAN DIEGO SWEETHEART
San Diego Zoo's newest addition, an adorable panda cub, is starting to open its eyes. We can't wait to hear what they decide to name it. We think "Amanda" for a girl or "Andy" for a boy would be cute, but that's just us.

Ruben the chimpanzee monkeys around with his surrogate mother, Kito, at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Sadly, Ruben's original mother died 24 hours after giving birth during a medical procedure.

CHEETAH CUBS
Justin and Carmelita, the Smithsonian's National Zoo's cheetah cubs, were named after Olympic sprinters Carmelita Jeter and Justin Gaitlin. They recently had the chance to meet their namesakes earlier this month. We wonder who would win in a race, animal or human?

Perth Zoo welcomed two litters of otter pups recently, including this little one. If they're checking to see if he's a cutie, stop the check-up now, because he passed the test.

HEDGEHOG HEAP
It's been three weeks since Cameron Park Zoo welcomed four baby hedgehogs into their family. Polaris, Storm, Magneto and Juggernaut used to be the size of a teaspoon, but they have grown to be the size of golf balls. They still have a ways to grow. Soon, they'll be the size of a softball.

SQUEEZE TIGHT
The Reid Park Zoo welcomed a baby tamandua named Quito late last August. The tiny creature was given a fluffy polar bear to hold. One day, he'll be bigger than the toy, but for now, he can hang on for a ride.

A 6-day-old hippopotamus is photographed next to its mother, Kara, at Planet Sauvage Zoo in Port-Saint-Pere, France. The birth of the baby was a rare event for this species in captivity.

A baby rhino bumps heads with its dad at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. We think it's more of a love tap than an angry headbutt, though, right? He's too young to have teenage tantrums.

Prospect Park Zoo's tiny tamarin baby peeks over its mother's body to say hello to visitors. He is one of two. His twin was not pictured, but was hanging out somewhere near these two. We can't wait to see them together.

Colchester Zoo successfully bred their first pair of baby blue cranes. Here's one of them staring its parent straight in the eye. "So, you're responsible for making me cute," the tiny bird squeaked.

Visitors might miss the new Bolivian gray tiki monkey baby on its mother's back, but upon closer inspection, you can see an adorable baby face hiding in the fur. Lincoln Park Zoo was thrilled to welcome their new primate. So adorbs.
