PRETTY LITTLE OTTER PUPS
This otter pup is one of two litters, including four pups, born at the Perth Zoo. The otter births at the zoo are part of a regional breeding program specially for otters. They are the first born in 18 years.

VICUNA VERSA
These lovely vicunas appear to look like one vicuna with two heads. Although the photo is a bit misleading, they seem to be enjoying a nice rest on the grass at Chester Zoo.

WHITE-FACED, NOT TWO-FACED
The white-faced saki is found in north central South America, and is a type of New World monkey. Its name comes from its unique color of fur, which is attributed to the monkey's unique appearance.

HOT, HOT HIPPO
A hippo in the San Diego Zoo feasts on a juicy piece of watermelon while taking a nice dip in the pool.

CHIMP OFF THE OLD BLOCK
Ruben the chimpanzee monkeys around with his surrogate mother, Kito, at the Oklahoma City Zoo. Sadly, Ruben's mother died 24 hours after giving birth during a medical procedure. Ruben arrived at the Oklahoma City Zoo on July 30, and he is slowly becoming acquainted with the other members of his family.

KANGA-CLEAN
A young kangaroo at the Philadelphia Zoo takes a moment to clean his face. Although the picture suggests this kangaroo might be sad, we believe this little guy just has some schmutz on his face. Too cute!

SWEET TOOTH CARNIVORE
Kinkajous are often mistaken for monkeys. However, they are actually closely related to raccoons. These cute critters are found in the rainforests of Central America, and despite having sharp teeth, their diet is actually 90 percent fruit.

It's been three weeks since Cameron Park Zoo welcomed four baby hedgehogs into their family. Polaris, Storm, Magneto and Juggernaut used to be the size of a teaspoon, but have grown to be the same size as a golf ball. When fully grown, these tiny creatures will be about the size of a softball.
