Who Is Killing the Rabbits in St. Louis?
the daily dish
Residents in south St. Louis' Villanova neighborhood are trying to figure out what's going on with all the rabbits. According to KTVI, neighbors have been finding the bodies of dead rabbits in their yards, although they appeared to be uninjured otherwise.
The neighborhood is usually filled with the furry animals for as long as most residents have been around. "I've lived here about 16 years," resident Joe Dobbs said. "Never seen anything like this. Usually see rabbits all over the neighborhood and now, for some reason, they're just showing up dead."
Missouri's Department of Conservation has ruled out the West Nile virus. They believe a human is likely to blame. No one is certain, but the Missouri Department of Conservation says they'd like to get a sample to test and see why the rabbits are all dying.

Someone is probably poisoning them. Rabbits in a vegetable garden are considered pests!
