Why is someone keeping this meerkat as a pet??????? They are absolutely adorable but they are WILD animals and should be out in the WILD where they belong! Get a dog or a cat!

When he's off to the left of the fireplace, the little guy looks a bit like Grampa on the Munsters (actor Al Lewis).

Please stop showing cute Meerkat pet videos. You're simply supporting a market of animal cruelty. Taking an animal so far out of his normal element and not giving him a suitable environment to match his instincts is disgusting, and simply human hubris. These pets have a high rate of being returned, because they end up not being suitable pets. You're simply perpetuating this. May as well bring a goldfish home and keep him in a dog crate.
