Irish Rugby Star, Father and Brother Die Trying to Save Family Dog

Ulster rugby player Nevin Spence, his brother Graham and their father Noel died tragically last Saturday evening in an attempt to save their pet dog from a slurry tank. According to The (U.K.) Independent, the dog had fallen into the tank before Noel, the father, tried to retrieve him. His sons tried to rescue their father, but were killed by the poisonous gases.
A statement released by Rev. Rodney Stout, senior pastor at Ballynahinch Baptist Church, read: "The families of Noel, Graham and Nevin Spence are trying very hard to come to terms with their tragic loss."
Nevin's sister, Emma, was also taken to the hospital after entering the slurry tank. She is being treated for fume inhalation.
Nevin was a member of the Ulster Rugby squad that reached the European Heineken cup final last season. He was also awarded Young Player of the Year at the Irish Rugby Union Players' Association Awards in 2011.

slurry tank is a tank full of sh it. can be human or animal. Normally animal like in a hog farm or large contaimnemt pen
