A batch of endangered Oregon silverspot butterfly females recently arrived at Oregon Zoo. They'll lay their eggs in the zoo's butterfly lab, and next spring, they'll be released into the wild as pupae. This one's drinking nectar from a Q-tip.
In a couple of years, he can wake at 6 am, smell you at forty miles away, come straight to your location---over ice, water and mountains and in a straight line---to eat you for lunch. Keep him the hell away from me.

i love those little hedge hoggies . ! and just when you think it can't get any cuter then there come the babies. ouch .!
