While vets aren't certain how Quasi's signature look came to pass, their best guess is that the kitty has an unaltered cleft lip. The cleft lip most likely is connected to Quasi's eye, giving him his unique expression.

With a face like that, it's not surprising that Quasi is the inspiration for many of the craft goods on My Ugly Kitty. 

PAWS FOR THE CAUSE

Thanks to Quasi's majestic mug, My Ugly Kitty has raised more than $4,000 for shelter felines in need. Obviously, the figure is a little higher than Quasi expected.

Due to Quasi's differences, he has trouble seeing out of one of his eyes, but he makes up for it with awesome ear power. There are rumors this keen-eared kitty can hear a bag crinkle from two floors up.
