Dog Brings Home Human Foot

When it comes to your pet bringing home unexpected objects, branches and dead squirrels are the norm from a hunting hound. But a human foot? According to KCAL-TV, that's exactly what Lucky the dog brought home to his Newberry Springs owner's doorstep.

"It didn't seem like it was real. It was freaky, scary and I was in shock," Erica, Lucky's owner, said.

When Lucky brought home the foot, Erica immediately contacted San Bernardino sheriff's detectives who found more body parts along the I-40 freeway. The race or gender of the remains have yet to be determined. Investigators will continue to look into missing-persons cases in the area and will gather DNA from the remains they have.
