Mufasa and Simba, is that you? According to the (U.K.) Daily Mail, photographer Suzi Eszterhas caught this heart-melting first meeting between a male lion cub and his dad. Eszaterhas has been following a lioness and her cubs around Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve since the babies were 3 weeks old. The photographer's dedication allowed her to capture the moment when the lioness decided her 7-week-old cubs were ready to meet the rest of the pride, including their father.
-
MANE ENVY
While the cub was hesitant about his big cat daddy at first, the little one soon warmed up and got a close look at his father's luxurious locks.
-
KISS KISS
The cub's mother kept a close eye on the exchange, but she didn't have much to worry about. Pretty soon, the pair were exchanging kisses.
-
LITTLE LION, BIG BITES
Those kisses transformed into loves bites, which Dad wasn't quite so enchanted by.

Looks like lions take better care of their young than Kenyan parents do.

That only happens if a new male takes over the pride. He wants cubs of his own.
