    After a tragic accident, London the Pit Bull puppy got back on his feet, just not the way everyone expected. According to the U.K. Daily Mail, London fell out of a three story window, breaking both his front paws and burning his legs on the tarmac below. Not letting the fall keep him down, London has now learned how to walk on his back paws like a human.

    Unfortunately, London's previous owner waited over a month after the fall to seek any treatment for the Pit Bull. At this point, surgery to fix the dogs bones was too risky to preform. London was put into the care of a local Vancouver, Washington Humane Society that sought out a specialist to help the pup. With assistance from Panda Paws, a group that helps pay for rescue animals' emergency medical situations, London had his front paws amputated.

    The plan for after the operation was to have London outfitted with a front wheelchair. But before specialists had a chance to craft the mechanism for London, he had already learned to walk on his own. Sadly, this impressive trick will not solve all of the dog's problems. London will still need a wheelchair to prevent damage to his back.

    Until London's wheelchair is paid for and assembled, he will go through swimming and ball therapy to relieve the strain he is putting on his back. London has learn to get around by scooting on his back and using his head to keep balance.  Amanda Giese, founder of Panda Paws, told Daily Mail, aside from the new walk, London is a normal and eager puppy. "He plays, he's happy, he enjoys rolling in the grass just as any able-body canine would on these hot summer days," Giese shared.

    While London has shown she could work around her injuries, vets believe that amuptation was the right choice. This surgery prevents the Pit Bull puppy from causing further harm to his body and offers him a better chance at a long and happy life. Ensuring that London recieves all the treatment and recover he need is not cheap. Thankfully, Panda Paws and other giving indiviudal have helped this high-spirited dog through his medical needs.     Once London completes his recovery period, he will be available for adoption for the right loving family. After everything he has been through, it is certainly something he deserves. Fans of London, who call themselves Team London, have no doubt that he will get his happy ending. The dog was named after the 2012 Olympic games and has shown he has the athlete-like perseverance to make it to any finish line.
