Sphynx kitten Madeline sent everyone's hearts aflutter with her darling dragonfly look. Here's a bug we could really snuggle up to.

THE KING HAS ARRIVED

Elvis, a Savannah cat, effortlessly channeled his namesake and wild side, performing tricks and looking sharp in custom leather duds. 

PRIMA BALLERINA

We caught the rare moment when this pussycat ballerina took a break from the pirouettes for a small snack. 

 I WANT TO DANCE WITH SOMEBODY

Having four legs didn't limit these kitties from strutting their stuff. The fashionistas were striking all kinds of signature poses to show off their looks. 

KING KITTY

Lightning the Savannah Cat experimented with Method acting. He really believed he was royalty once his crown was on. 

ELEGANT EGYPTIAN

This Sphynx was happy to represent her ancestors, slipping on a chic pharaoh look. She was also happy to accept belly rubs.

HONEY-BADGER LOVE

Randall was on the prowl throughout the event, hobnobbing with the high-fashion cat models. The stylish felines stopped to earn a little face time with the Internet star. 

INTIMATE INTERVIEWS

Randall was not afraid to get up close and purr-sonal with the talent, asking hard-hitting questions like, "Are you going through an identity crisis?" 

MODELS IN TRAINING

The Bid-A-Wee shelter set up an adoptions center full of charismatic kittens looking for homes, and perhaps a chance at the catwalk. 

LADY OF THE EVENING

As with any Algonquin event, the Belle of the Ball was our columnist and resident feline of the hotel, Matilda. The haughty hotel cat and her purr-sonal human assistant, Alice de Almeida, kept an attentive eye on the festivities to make sure every person and pussycat was enjoying the evening. After being away from the Algonquin during renovations, Matilda wanted to ensure everyone knew she was back on the prowl.

MC MEOW

PawNation contributor and pet-lifestyle expert Sandy Robins served as the event host. Robins was purrfect at making all the guests (human and animal) feel well-acclimated and entertained. 

BRING YOUR CAT

Human guests were encouraged to bring furry friends as "plus ones" to cheer on their fellow feline fashionistas as they strutted their stuff. 

DRESSED TO IMPRESS

All the cats were provided with an impressive collection of the latest kitty couture. The felines were so enamored with the wardrobe, they went through several costume changes, unable to settle on the best dress.

FELINE FASHION HOUSE

Carla Reiss of Meow Wear, the designer of all the dashing outfits, made sure to consult with each cat prior to fittings. This ensured that every ensemble exuded as much cattitude as possible.

SERIOUS SWAG

A variety of pet-friendly proprietors donated goods to be included in prize baskets that were raffled off. All the proceeds from tickets went to help the efforts of NY Save, an organization dedicated to helping animals with emergency medical situations.
