PRIMATE PARENT
This mom isn't monkeying around. She is truly raising this chimp. After being turned away by his family, a baby chimpanzee was taken into a zookeeper's home to be hand-raised. But it wasn't the keeper who did most of the work; it was her Mastiff. The dog instantly connected with the primate and raised her alongside her own puppies.

December 20 2012 at 8:04 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyMy husband & I rescued a blue & gold Mccaw a year ago, someone shot this beautiful bird twice. i was walking out my front door to see a cat on the bird in my neighbors yard with another cat in on the attack. We took the Macaw to the Vet and learned that he was very week and had 2 pellets in him one his foot and the other in his wing. We nurtured him back to good health but he will never fly again, the pellets cannot be removed. His Soulmate came everyday and flew around the house to see him. One day she came into our home and gave up her freedom for him, she will not leave his side. They care and love one another like something I've never seen. We as humans should take lessions from them.

Everything needs something was what she always said. I love animals.If you just spend some time with them you find out how smart they really are.And very loving.
