These Aussie animals may seem like an unlikely match, but the pair easily became best mates. According to The (U.K.) Daily Mirror, Anzac the kangaroo and Peggy the wombat became snuggle buddies when they were put in the same pouch at the Wildlife Kilmore Rescue Centre. Staff at the center say both animals are orphans, and find comfort in their friendship and in listening to each other's heartbeats.
