New 'NONONONO' Cat Tries for Web Stardom

That is definitely not a cat that is about to throw up like some people said. You can see that he is watching the person's every movement and following them back and forth with his eyes and is terrified of something, he doesn't take his eyes off whatever it is. everything in his body language and vocalizations indicates fear, from his bushy tail, his very tense, still body, the head slightly down, the wide eyes, the hesitation in its movements. watch it again and watch it closely, there is nothing in his movements that indicate he's going to throw up, which I have seen many, many cats do and I have owned cats all my life. at cat that is going to vomit will start heaving its stomach, putting its head down to expel the vomit, etc and you don't see this cat doing that or even start doing that in this video. i don't know if he's being abused, but he is definitely not a happy baby and its not very funny, he's scared out of his mind.

It looks to me like this kitty is very upset. Poor kitty. I don't think it's funny.

Ok this kitty does NOT like whatever is being done, and is scared, so the owner should have STOPPED the camera and let the poor kitty alone. I hope the cat gets paybacks big time. For the owner or person video tapping this, to do it just for kicks and giggles on Youtube (at the expense of this poor feline) is mean, not really abusive..just mean. Kitty? I hope your claws are in GOOD shape for later *wink*

Okay everyone--- CHILL on the abuse issue. I've had multiple cats, and they have all made that noise and had that look just before they vomited all over the place. They probably do have some fear, with good reason. A relative of mine had a cat that choked to death trying to hack up a hairball. I probably have the same look before I throw up!

If you watched the video you can see the person walking back and forth and the cat is watching that person closely and there is some kind of noise. I am not projecting anything onto anybody because if you have read the posts, I am not the only one who things this is wrong. It is interesting that you try to turn it back on me and avoid the real issue. Your comments to me, should also really be posted to all those people who agree that it is wrong. WOW, then all of us who thought it was wrong, according to you, we all must have lead a shelter life. There is a lot more I could say, but its not worth it. You said it all.

My cat does that vocalizing too- but hers sounds like: HELLO instead of nonono. She also likes to do it in the early morning- like a rooster crowing.

That's exactly the noise my cats make just before they puke. Usually it gives me enough time to grab them and put them outside before everything comes up.
