Mother Hen Adopts Four Kittens

This isn't your ordinary story of a foster mom adopting a batch of baby animals. Four kittens have a mother that is alive and well and taking good care of them. However, at a farm in southern Romania, a hen has decided that she still wants to help with the motherly duties. According to "Today," this caring chicken jumps in every chance she gets. Even if the mother cat is away for a second, the chicken will come in to care for the kittens. At night, she even covers the kittens with her wings. For this reason, the hen and the cat mother don't get along very well. The chicken has even been observed to peck at the cat. Watch the video to learn more about this interesting and unusual story.
