Officials contacted Molly's owner, who was thrilled and shocked to hear that Molly had been found. She told the officer that her dog disappeared in 2009 after she returned from a mission in Iraq. Molly had run away from the house of a friend who had been watching her.
Molly will be driven to Tucson to be reunited with her owner as soon as she returns from her current assignment.
