Dog Reunited With Family After 3 Years and 1,000 Miles
After three years and 1,000 miles away from Fort Hood, Texas, Molly the Basset Hound was finally reunited with her family in Prescott Valley, Ariz. thanks to her microchip.
According to the Daily Courier, a Prescott Valley Police officer took Molly to the animal control facility after they had noticed she was running loose around the area. I agree with smithddtiger2 about the use of a microchip. I'm a pet sitter and I encourage both collars and tags and microchips. Some people don't know about scanning for the chip. Also, if the dog doesn't lose some weight, he won't be around too long. He doesn't look like a dog that was roaming for 3 years.

Slobber all over the side of your car! The theme song for her home coming party will be: "You ain't nothin' but a hound dog, cryin' all the time!"

Well, I moved into my house almost 3 years ago, and there is a stray Dog that has been roaming around here even before I moved in. and animal control patrols here frequently. Some dogs are smart and just know how to survive and hide out. But at least she is in good health and is at home now !!!
