Sometimes people forget that when you post something online, almost anyone can see it. In this case, that ignorance could help save the lives of several dogs. According to The Detroit News, police raided and removed dogs from a home after Detroit-based rapper Young Calicoe posted a video of himself touring the residence and making references to dog fighting.

The video shows Young Calicoe walking through the home and pointing out details. Red flags began to pop up for viewers when the rapper referenced a backyard zoo. The clip later shows several dogs stuffed in kennels and one chained alongside a dog house, along with several caged roosters. Throughout the video, Young Calicoe make several suspicious comments, including mentions that several of the animals are champion fighters and that he hopes he won't be indicted like NFL quarterback Michael Vick, who infamously was linked to a dog-fighting ring in 2007.

Several alarmed viewers of this video called local police demanding action. Authorities received a search warrant for the home and retrieved all of the animals, moving them to the Michigan Humane Society. Along with investigating animal cruelty charges, police are checking if the allegations could be part of a larger dog-fighting and cockfighting circuit.

Michigan Humane Society spokesman Kevin Hatman told Detroit News that all of the animals will receive high-quality care from the facility and that he is happy to see the dogs removed from the home. While the canines move on to new lives, police have started questioning several individuals connected to the video and raided the home.

Young Calicoe denied any connections to the potential dog-fighting ring, but also asked his Twitter followers to report any suspicious videos that feature the rapper involved in dog-fighting activities to him.

Boycott Young Calicoe, don't upload any of his material, don't purchase anything he or his label put out. $$$ speaks. Time to end dog fighting. Young Calicoe is not the first rapper to be accused of dog fighting (and unfortunately, he won't be the last).
