The Alaska SeaLife Center is fawning over an adorable new resident. The facility helped rescue a baby beluga whale that was somehow separated from his mother. The little guy was discovered lost and alone in Bristol Bay, Alaska at only two-days-old. According to Buzzfeed, the baby belgua was moved to the SeaLife Center, where the staff is dedicated to getting the animal rehabilitated.
UPDATE: Sadly, the beluga has passed away. ABC News reported that a full report will be conducted regarding the animal.

A LITTLE TO THE LEFT
The baby beluga enjoys some hands-on time while being transported. Marine animals like massages too!

BEST BABY-SITTING JOB
Because of the beluga's young age at rescue, it requires around the clock care. Something tells us the staff doesn't mind.

MOTHER'S MILK
This flippered cutie isn't picky. If you're holding the bottle, then you're its mother.

SWEET SUCKER
The "nom nom" face has never looked more precious.

COVER WHALE
The calf may be less than a month old, but it already knows how to work all its most adorable angles.

UNDERWATER PLAYGROUND
The baby beluga is given plenty of toys to boost enrichment. The staff is still trying to waterproof the Scrabble board.

BYE BYE, BELUGA
Until next time, baby beluga. Don't grow up too fast!

this would be a dreamy job. I wish they'd call me and say "hey we need you."
