When Patch hopped aboard the train to Dublin all by his lonesome, the power of Twitter reunited him with his owner. Irish Rail Tweeted, "Lost Dog!" after the Jack Russell Terrier hopped aboard with morning commuters. Following more than 500 retweets in just 32 minutes, the photo found Patch’s owner, Deirdre Anglin, who Tweeted back to the state railway, "That’s my dog!"

A greedy Rottweiler named Max was being spoon-fed a strawberry when suddenly, instead of just taking the fruit, he inhaled the utensil, too. Max was brought to the hospital and an x-ray showed that the five-inch spoon was lodged firmly in Max's stomach. He was rushed into surgery and is now recovering.

A Shar-Pei named Cleopatra feeds Siberian tiger cub Clyopa in the house of Yekaterina Khodakova. Khodakova's dog has been breastfeeding Clyopa and her sibling Plyusha because their mother refused to feed them.
