Thief Returns Puppy After Pastor Sees Him on TV

No matter how adorable a puppy may be, stealing one is never sanctioned by the church. According to KABC-TV, one dognapper found that out the hard way when his pastor urged him to return a stolen canine and turn himself in.
With help from a lookout, 53-year-old Jesus Medina snagged a $1,000 Puggle puppy from a pet store in South Pasadena, Calif. last week. Even though the robbery was captured on tape and the dog was microchipped, authorities were unable to apprehend the two thieves.

Then Medina's pastor recognized his parishioner from the security footage of the dognapping that played on the local news. After watching the segment, the pastor contacted Medina and urged him to do the right thing and return the puppy.
Medina listened to his minister, and was placed under arrest after giving the dog back and admitting to the crime. The Puggle puppy appeared to be unfazed and unharmed by his brief stint as a hostage.

They were being sarcastic... $70 sounds like an adoption fee and by adding "something" to the LabPitChow, they were making the point that you can pay a small adoption fee for a mixed breed and save a life vs paying $1000 for a mixed breed from a puppy mill. I think they are quite aware that a Puggle is not a purebred...

What's a shame is that the dogs being sold in pet stores are usually puppy mill dogs and what sucks is that basically they need to be raided in order to rescue the dogs so that no one is contributing to them. They are all living and breathing too and they just need to get someone in to do a rescue!

My Pure Bred LabPitChowSomething is a great dog, and a bargain at $70!
