The World's Ugliest Dog 2012 Is Mugly the Chinese Crested

Just an FYI for you people that have said nasty things about these dogs without even knowing them.......one thing I'd like to point out is that the crested, if you bothered to KNOW the breed, is a QUIET dog!! They DO NOT YAP!! They are also very loving, social dogs that love to cuddle and give hugs. They love to be with people. I have a "designer breed" dog that is 1/2 long haired chihuahua and 1/2 powder puff Chinese crested, they aren't hairless. In fact, they have gorgeous hair. My dog is SO adorable I can't take him anywhere that people don't either take pictures, ask to hold him, joke about stealing him, or all of the above. He has an AWESOME personality and he LOVES to please. He's only 4 months old and he already knows sit, speak, lay down, and give me your paw. He's even potty trained and almost house broken. If that's a "horrible" dog then I wonder why people are so willing to pay $1,000 plus for these dogs. The majority of his personality traits are the ones described by the pages I've read about the crested.

I'm tired of people taunting and voting for Chinese Crested dog as the most ugliest dogs in the world. These pooches always look sad and tail curled down. Why subject these pooches to such a cruelty? Do owners of these breeds embrace them with love and compassion? I wonder.
