The aquarium professionals of Animal Planet's show "Tanked" were given an unusual party request. One dude wanted to transform some old kegs into a frat fish's dream house. The final result is certainly something to raise a glass to.
One thing that's upsetting...a couple of these tanks are shown with waaaaay more gold fish in them than is healthy. A single gold fish requires 18-20 gallons, as they will attain a mature size of 10-12 inches. The toilet tank and sink are not at all suitable for gold fish. They need something that's smaller and easier to keep. Like zebra danios.
to aol white voice. You have got. To be one of those ministers who wants people dead that they don't like. A VERY shameful person and Christian. Pathetic.
I am still not sure. The best way to run an aquarium, a fresh water one, is to have an under gravel filter connected to power head(s) and to a very good filter. Unfortunately, .. this trpe of set up should be left to the professionals
There are some high-powered filters that will keep an aquarium clean for long stretches of time but, occasionally, aquariums do need to be drained and cleaned. The cleaning agents I used for over twenty years to clean my aquariums were salt to kill bacteria and vinegar to kill fungus. I never used anything else. I never had a problem.

It would have been nice if I could have seen the pictures of the crazy tanks.

December 27 2012 at 9:03 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate downSalt water aquariums are the best....harder to keep but the fish are so much cooler... those were some cool looking aquariums
