Owner Victoria Reed adopted Bruschi from a no-kill shelter in Arlington, Texas three years ago. Reed said that the dog locked his huge eyes on her, jumped into her arms and refused to leave. From then on, the wide-eyed canine has been all hers.

Reed decided to submit Bruschi to Guinness after the vet joked about the pooch having the largest dog eyes in the world. As it turned out, the vet was right. Reed said that she is happy for her beloved pup, who has been teased for his looks in the past. She believes that if Bruschi could talk, he would tell those bullies, "Look at me now!"
