Matrimony went to the dogs this week when adorable pooches Piper and Boo tied the knot in some truly pawsome puptiuals. The Woof Woof Wedding wasn't only a happy union of two canine cuties, but also a fundraiser by DJS Events to raise money and awareness for North Shore Animal League and Waggytail Rescue.
Luckily, PawNation had the honor of receiving exclusive access to the big day. Check out all the bark-worthy details.

THE BRIDE
The blushing and barking bride was Piper Strain, a Chihuahua adopted from the North Shore Animal League. The lady in white sported a Kleinfeld Bridal original for the big day.

THE GROOM
Also an adopted NSAL pup, Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix Boo was the lucky man taking Piper's paw. Boo was one dapper dog, sporting Kleinfeld duds as well.

BOW WOW BOUQUET
Guest were greeted by a fluffy flower arrangement in the image of the couple-to-be.

TIME TO PAW-TY
The event was hosted at the elegant 24 Fifth Ave, donated for the evening by the wedding host and born animal lover Penny Glazier. All the guests had oodles of room to wag their tails and celebrate.

ALWAYS THE BRIDESMAID
Plenty of adorable pooches showed up to show their support for Piper and Boo's next chapter. A special few even made the bridal party.

NO COLD PAWS PLEASE
The altar took a cue from a posh dog house, so both the bride and groom felt right at home.

HERE COMES THE BRIDE, WOOFING IN WHITE
No hesitation here. Piper strutted down the runway in full wedding regalia to meet her groom.

THE VOW-WOWS
Justice of the Pooch, Valerie Smaldone, helped the dogs with their vows, asking for a yip or yap in place of "I dos." The couple eagerly obliged.

GUEST OF HONOR
After perfecting the pooches' looks, "Say Yes To the Dress" stars Randy Feloni and Vera Skenderis of Kleinfeld Bridal watched on in adoration as the doggies tied the knot.

THE HAPPY COUPLE
The proud pet owners assured everyone that there was no pre-puptial agreements here; it was true puppy love. And now it's official.

DIG IN
Canines in attendence were treated to a delicious, dog-friendly, peanut-butter biscuit cake.

SLIP INTO SOMETHING MORE COMFORTABLE
After the ceremony, Piper chose to shed the dress and show off one of the sparkling collars that the dogs exchanged in place of rings.

CAKE CUTIES
For guests with a more human palette, there was a delicious cake adorned with Boo and Piper figurines, designed by Lydia Zdrok.

FATHER AND MOTHER OF THE BRIDE
DJS Events President Dawn Strain and her husband Rudy Holesek were glowing with pride over Piper's big day and top dog groom.

PROUD PET PARENTS OF THE GROOM
Broadway stars Andy Karl and Orfeh didn't care if they were covered in dog hair; they were too busy congratulating Boo on a perfect wedding.
