Who knew a flock of owls would make such friendly pets? An adorable family in a small town in Italy are proof that they can. The Falconieri delle Orobie from the Villa d'Adda, Italy, became so smitten with a barn owl a family friend gifted their daughter, Martina, that their adoration turned into a full-fledged obsession. The family decided to make the adoption of nocturnal and diurnal raptors their full-time hobby. Currently, their sanctuary hosts 22 barn owls and became famous with the help of a YouTube video posted of Martina petting one of the owls. Not convinced that owls can be cute, fuzzy and fun?
