Chris Brown Under Fire for Selling Pit Bull Puppies
R&B singer Chris Brown is now selling pit bull puppies online for $1000 each through his website CB Breeds, much to the dismay of animal advocates.
Brown's rep, Maureen O' Connor, confirmed that the site is legit and the pups he's advertising were from a litter born at his family home in Virginia, but that he's "simply selling them to make sure they go to good homes" and notes that it won't be a new business, reports the AP.
Unfortunately, in Brown's world the only thing a prospective buyer needs to do to be a good home is click on a PayPal link to add a puppy to their cart and fork over some cash ...no questions asked, which can hardly ensure that these puppies will end up in a good forever home. These little ones can even be delivered, but no, shipping is not included in the price.

The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles spoke out about the issue on behalf of pit bulls condemning backyard breeders and wants to encourage Brown to use his celebrity status to raise awareness about the importance of adoption instead.

"There is no reason to breed and produce more Pit Bull puppies when there are Pit puppies waiting for homes in every shelter in America," said spcaLA President, Madeline Bernstein in a statement. "Furthermore, as some of these dogs suffer from and are victims of their owner's misuse, they can be even harder to place."

Hopefully this will be Brown's last litter and these puppies will find good homes ... where they can keep their entire ears, unlike mom and dad.
