De'cat'pitated Heads: $12 each
And for a little humor...what kitty could resist a "de-cat-pitated" head of a hand sewn mouse, fish or bird. They're a little gory, but a lot less messy than the "presents" that kitty can bring in from the great outdoors.
The prices on these things is totally outrageous! These cat perches are so obviously pandering to the stupid rich. Most of these things can be found far more cheaply, or can be made for a couple of bucks with supplies from your local Home Depot or Lowe's! You can find a cheap version of those waves shelves at IKEA. Anyone who spends money on these "designer" cat perches is a total moron who is too stupid to be allowed to vote or operate a motor vehicle! Given the horrible state of our economy, to be pushing these totally unnecessary pieces of designer cr@p is nothing less than criminal!
WHEW! While I agree this is overpriced stuff that can be gotten or made cheaper, may I suggest some yoga? Wow! You sound so angry for someone commenting on a "happy animal" web story.
I agree with Lorraine … Kathy- your comment sounds extremely angry. I’m not sure how, or why this article generated such an ‘energized’ response from someone.
+1 on the goofy pricing
I clicked through to see how much, and cheapest is $250ish. That's a lot for some cloth-covered cardboard boxes. And I'm not above wasting crazy money on my cats, either. :)
I think all of them are hideous and overpriced JUNK. And since both of our cats are de-clawed rescues from a shelter, many of the configurations and coverings just wouldn't work for them. So I purchase or make my own corner units that allow them to leap in smaller increments up to a perch near a window, which is where they most like to be.
LMAO..... yet, another idea to rip off cat owners. This rivals the recently posted "designer" litter box. You know, the one you can make yourself for $4 by buying a tub with lid. These look just as bad as the carpeted ones. Who are these morons designing this stuff? he he he
I do not like the style nor the price. I think that my cat would prefer the back of the couch where she can look out the window. Most cats would probably spend more time with the shipping boxes than this stuff..
I couldn't see any prices but the 3 I saw on top were nice looking. I would never declaw a cat though. I clip all my cats clawsd every weekend. The cat trees were not enought. They went after my new sectional...clip clip clip! Love my kitties.
