of the prizes available to the winner. Kurgo
One way to help keep your canine (and yourself) safe is to outfit your ride with special gear for dog travel. This week, we're giving away a "Pup Your Ride" prize pack from Kurgo. The company offers lots of products to make driving with your dog a little easier, regardless of the size of your furry friend.
One lucky Paw Nation reader gets his or her choice of either a Small Dog package or Big Dog package. This prize is so great that we don't even have room to include images of everything included (so make sure you check out the links below)!
The Big Dog package includes a Backseat Barrier (can also be used to section off a part of the backseat), Auto Zip Line (use in the back seat or the back of your SUV) and Tru-Fit Smart Harness (use in the car, on a walk, wherever!), valued at $113.
The Small Dog package includes a Skybox Booster Seat, Co-Pilot Seat Cover (handy for messy human co-pilots too) and Tru-Fit Smart Harness, valued at $128.

My pit puppy Lexi and I will be roadtripping it to Northern Michigan this summer!!
Hello, what a wonderful contest this is!!
Our little 11 month old Westie Winston always travels with my
boyfriend and me. We take him to the dogpark at least once or twice a
week. My boyfriend also brings Winston over when he visits me at my
house (Winston lives with my boyfriend) Whenever we travel together,
one of us carries Winston because we are afraid of putting him in the
back of the car. this is very difficult because Winston gets very
excited and restless. In case we make an unexpected and abrupt stop
or (God forbid!) get in an accident, our poor little puppy would get
very hurt. We have looked at the limited selection of car seats or
harnesses for the car at the local pet stores, but they are very
expensive and not very effective. We would love to be able to safely
take our puppy everywhere with us. Please consider us for this
giveaway!! Thank you :)
We will be going to the beach on the weekends--this would sure come in handy!
I'm getting married and instead of boarding Reese, our Shiba Inu, she'll be coming with us on a honeymoon roadtrip. We'll be hitting up dog friendly hotels and B&Bs in New England - RI beaches, Boston, (maybe VT) and Coastal Maine
My Shih Tzu, Izzy and I will be traveling to Northern Virginia this summer to visit my daughter who is in the Navy. Izzy always wants to be in my lap so this would be a wonderful gift.
My two heeler puupies and I will be heading to Wyoming this summer. Keeping them under control is always a challenge. Thie big dog package would come in very handy!
Lucy, my Chihuahua/Dachsund mix, and I believe we live in one ofs the most beautiful area of the U.S. and would use the prize package to travel in the Middle Tennessee areas. We live in Cookeville and have many amazing state parks in our area. Burgess Falls, Rock Island, and Fall Creek Falls are just three of the parks offering hiking, water activities, not to mention some fantastic scenery. Lucy and I would visit as many as possible this summer and fall.
My pup and I will be traveling to the beautiful state of Virginia to visit family and other pups, we can't wait she and I will be driving down 95 and we are both excited to get out of the city and in the country were she can run and play plenty of outdoors activities
This would be perfect for my fur-family! We have one smaller dog who sure does like to sit in your lap while you drive, and then our 40 lb lab is constantly losing her balance as we stop and go in traffic (we try to go slow for her)! I'm sure she'd appreciate a lil help from a harness! we'll be making a couple long trips to Houston and to Oklahoma this summer, but we also have our weekly car rides for play dates and shopping!
I would love this for my little Chihuahua, Lola, who has gets a tad bit of anxiety whenever we are in the car and she isn't in my lap, shaking, lol. It would be wonderful for her to have a safe harness and seat where she could feel comfortable. We are going to be traveling from Los Angeles to Ukiah, CA later this month and this would be so perfect! We also go to the dog park every weekend and she runs errands with me quite a bit.
We are taking our 2 yr old Westie to visit friends in N. Carollina. This will be his first road trip and we can't wait.
Taking my boys to their new home at the house I bought, my first home and their forever home :)
