Remember the video we posted recently of that adorable puppy who, as much as he tried, couldn't turn over? Wow, wasn't that cute? Well, a while has passed since then, the puppy has gotten older, his priorities have changed, and now there is a sequel documenting all that.

OMG how CUTE!
That puppy is so dysplastic he will never walk right. A lot of exercise will help, but he has a very very bad rear.
This is the cutest thing ever!!!
Sad. There is something wrong with his back/hindquarters.
Is he supposed to be able to do splits like that?
I THOUGHT THE SAME THING! I'm so glad you said that. Somebody should definitely check out his rear, something is horribly wrong!
That poor puppy's legs are splayed, meaning he can't walk! I hope they're getting him vet care. He back legs need to be in a soft brace so his legs grow stronger.
He's perfectly NORMAL!!! I know. I'm a dog breeder and that's how puppies, like children, learn to move about and develop their strength...by crawling, trying to stand up, trying to walk, falling down, rolling over and trying it all over again. He's fine.....and...as cute as a button!!!
HEY!! Nobody mentioned the cat!! I am a dog lover first, but the cat was really cool! I would love to have all of them!
I don't think that's normal for his legs to be like that. I have 2 dogs and neither one of them used to do that when they were puppies. If you notice the other puppy in the video doesn't do it and I'm sure their siblings.
As a veterinarian, I would suggest that this puppy is too fat for its developmental age and will have luxated patellaes (dislocated knee caps) or other developmental orthopedic problems...especially if allowed to try to walk on slippery surfaces....watch how the other puppy walks
i saw that ,too....did the puppy have a spinal injury at birth?I think it will eventually walk because I have seen this before...............
I agree, the puppy is a swimmer. Bet he has a flat chest. Over weight and properly needed his back legs taped briefly early on. I bred Labs for years and had one that was a swimmer, taping the back legs together with room enough for pup to get up and move around for a few days did the trick:)
The dogs shown in this clip are all healthy Frenchies...those of us familiar with the breed know that the French Bulldog does the splits, especially when little, they sleep one their tummies with one leg across their belly and one leg sticking out the back, they sit funny and that hip or knee cap problems are not the main issue with this breed (breathing and allergies are). Also, none of the three Frenchies shown here are overweight, my apologies to the vet. This is a stocky dog, sort of like a Boston Terrier bodybuilder.
Sorry, that puppy has a serious problem commonly called a "swimmer". It is found in almost any breed and is NOT NORMAL. Just compare it to the mom and the other puppy. It can be treated and the puppy can hace a normal healthy life, but it should never be bred!
I think he is a little weak in the backend compared to the other puppy....I saw another puppy on animal planet with the same problem...he eventually walked but was slower then the others in his litter.......
Screemenmeme if you are a "breeder" you should know this puppy has PECTUS EXCAVATUM, a genetic disorder called swimmer puppy. He cannot use his hind legs and has a flattened chest. This condition is common in Bulldogs. Many of there puppies can be helped, if treated early. They can live happy lives as pets, but should NEVER be bred.
Having bred French Bulldogs for 21 years, this puppy started out life as a "swimmer" he had a flat chest and was unable to roll over onto his belly from his back, and that is a big red flag. He needed to be worked with, proper resting positioning on his side, gently rolling while putting a tiny bit of pressure on his sides, and then he needed his back legs taped and splinted. I just put down a bitch that started life like this, she was so severly dysplastic that she eventually lost the use of her rear at the ripe old age of 5. (no, I did NOT breed that bitch) The fact that the pup was unable to roll over made me livid, especially the way it was being made fun of, and NOW it can't walk correctly with no splinting being done, and again making fun of this poorly bred specimen. You people should be ashamed of yourselves exploiting this poor puppy like this. Xray this poor thing, have the patella's checked and you will see that many people's comments are right on target. Splint the rear legs, tape the ankles, and exercise before it is a permanent situation.
The word "BITCH" might be appropriete a word for for a dog by the so called dog breeders and whatnot but everytime I hear the word used when speaking of a dog, just makes my blood boil, I absolutely hate the referrence as much as i hate the word "BROAD" used by ignorant people, the two words to me is one and the same, ignorant and disrepectful.
AS for the puppy physical problem, he does not seem to be suffering so putting it down would just be stupid just because it splays its little legs.
Please all you know it alls out there, just shut up and enjoy the video, no one is making fun of the puppy, we just think it is adorable.
