my great dane, minnie... is a mix... a punk rock princess!
My boyfriend and I have a 10month old female black lab. She was orgianlly bought to be a hunting dog (which she hasn't had to chance to go yet) but I have babied her so much that it is driving my boyfriend crazy. The first month we had her I went and got her nails painted BRIGHT ORANGE (atleast thats a hunting color right??) my boyfriend went crazy! Now that she has almost grown out of her "CAMO" collar I bought her a pink color! It looks so good on her with black fur! Although, she does not get to wear it that often, it makes her dad mad when I put it on her! [= The next thing I want to get her is a snuggie!! She loves to cuddle and sleep with me!
My little guy Romeo the Chihuahua is definitely a Lover not a fighter! But he is a force to be reckoned with if a stranger is around! To me and my family he is the most loving little sweetie!
Prudence is such a punk rock princess. In fact, that's what she was for halloween :D
Bella is such a prissy princess, but we love her anyway! ;)
I can't say Gunner has much style... but he's lost about 10lbs - and deserves a little something to help him show off.
My husband"s English Pointer, Kahli is half tom-boy, half high maintenence glamour girl. She hasn't met a mud puddle she doesn't love! However, the payoff to rolling in the mud, is the spa treatment she gets when she comes back in.
My "Buddy" is a pure white German Shepard. He is 120lbs. of pure loving. He is related to Rin Tin Tin numbers 2 and 4 but was left a shelter because he wasn't "good enough" to show. Buddy was in 3 homes before we adopted him, each returned him saying he wasn't "good enough" for one reason or another. He may be the "pedigree that couldn't" but we love every last ounce of him!
Katie is a two year old spoiled Beagle/Brittany mix. She loves to meet her boyfriend (Elvis) at the park and spends most of the morning wrestling with him. The she will come home and play prima dona the rest of the day. She ascends her sofa throne and only leaves when nature calls. Others in the house must find alternate seating when Katie is home. Her squeak toys are usually piled on the sofa throne along side her and she dictates when it is time to play.
Max partys like a Rock Star and is constantly being hounded by the Paparazzi
i have an american pitbull name rocky. And he thinks is a football player. very night he goes outside with my boyfriend's son with the football and chase each other. when they are done they usally argue on who has won that night.
This is where you get jealous, Angus, my 2 year old Black lab is America's New Super Model. With his chiseled features, dashing good looks and carefree personality, Angus will capture your heart and bring a smile to your face. Need another player for volleyball, a center fielder or an audience member for your violin recital, Angus is your boy, a scholar athlete who could ask for more.
My Cricket is a lab and Whippet cross. She is so prime and proper siting with her front legs crossed, and very feminine. But then if there is a knock on the door, or one of her pack tries to take one of her bones its on. She is tough! Definitely a Jekel and Hyde!!
Tazz is a Bull Terrier which makes him a total goofball! He is a clown when it comes to anything and is always making us laugh. He runs like a horse which means he gallops and is always looking straight ahead. He never turns his head when he is running.
Two weeks ago today (Monday) we had to put one of our dogs down. Her name was Gracie, and we had her for 10.5 years. We found out this past January 4th that Gracie had cancer that had already spread to her liver. The vet only gave her 2 months to live. Our other dog Autumn is mostly a black lab (whom I have nick named "My Little Pony") rarely left Gracie's side. Hours before we took Gracie to the vet to have her put down, I had my husband take a couple last pictures of her, and as always Autumn is laying within a foot from her. Autumn is one of the most loveness dogs I have ever had or been around. She is the type of dog that you just can't love her enough. I can't say that she had a princess attitude, or sporty, or a punk rocker--she's just a lover plain and simple. Anyway, just as you hear of people grieving when they have lost a pet, so do animals, and Autumn has definitely grieved for Gracie :o(
We have a very tall Bichon Frise named Chi Chi. We rescued her from a shelter 2 years ago. She is a princess with an edge. Full of love, life, humor, and a little clumsy - but sophisticated. Chi Chi is kind of a rocker that sports alot of pink and purple. My husband is a groomer and dyes her tail hot pink. It goes with her and her "don't mess with me" attitude.
My baby, Pippin, is a dainty litle girl all the way! She even crosses her front legs when she lays down! She looks great in purple!!!
I have three dogs.
Blackjack, my chow mix has the punk rock attitude. He's a 'look but you can't touch' type.
Tamboo, my rescue from Puerto Rico is the sporty type. She been active like never before since her surgery last september to both knees!
Jelly, Tamboo's sister (from the same litter rescued from PR) is the princess. She has all the ladylike poses and all the charm to go with it.
My "Cassie" is a miss priss with an attitude. More like a doggie diva that can be tough when necessary to fight off male mutts.
Remus is a dignified Beagle, born and bred. He's all rather tough and nonchalant with other dogs, but he loves nothing better than to sit in his favorite armchair (which we simply can't separate from him, no matter how old it's getting) and have his belly rubbed by me. He loves to go on walks too, sniffing at other people's cars and children. His style? Like a gentlemen: sophisticated and stylish.
