We've got to ask ourselves: does Willi realize just how cute he is when he sits on his butt, one leg up? We may never know, but we're ready to fill out the adoption forms.

That's cute but, not too amazing. our cat does it all the time. and he sits in many many more adorable positions

Jim#2 Jim11-26-2009 @ 10:52AM

This isn't so amazing. All cats sit like this when cleaning their private areas. These people caught the cat "mid lick", and then talked to it long enough to keep its attention while they filmed it. No big deal here...

Bela82#3 Bela8211-26-2009 @ 6:25AM

Really? You may never know why that cat has his lig up? Guess you've never owned a cat. He's washing himself! At least he was until those women with annoying voices started probing him as to why he has his leg up. Poor kitty.

kat#4 kat11-26-2009 @ 9:43AM

you are exactly right!!! interruptus cleaningus!!! lol

Bosscub#5 Bosscub11-26-2009 @ 1:50PM

lol Bela82 and Kat...have to agree!!! Poor baby just has no privacy....wonder how those woman would feel if someone came in their bathroom while they were taking a shower...."hey whatcha doin there? Why you standing like that?" Poor poor kitty.

Bela82#6 Bela8211-26-2009 @ 8:55PM

LOL indeed! "Why are you in the shower, silly girl? Why do you do that? Whats so fun in the shower, silly girl? Get out of the shower." (we may never know why that woman was in the shower but we do know its cute!) LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

i am disabled and i have to spend 24/7 w/ my cat.you would be amazed the things cats can do.they are very intellegent animals and can do things i have seen things no other animals can do.have 3 outside@1 inside.needless to say never seen a mouse in the 4 years i have had them.

Watcher#8 Watcher11-26-2009 @ 8:24AM

While cleaning themselves, cats will often raise one of the rear legs to access private areas. If they get distracted, they will sometimes hold those positions. Also, if they get too warm, they will expose underside for cooling.

Ash#9 Ash11-26-2009 @ 9:52AM

My cats do that often. Mid cleaning, the pause and take a break.

Kathryn#10 Kathryn11-26-2009 @ 9:57AM

Poor kitty is right. The owner is an ignoramus who should not be allowed to own a pet if she doesn't understand even the animal's most basic hygiene needs.

Gena#11 Gena11-26-2009 @ 10:16AM

Too true! Everyone knows about this cat "pose" except the ladies filming it. Is the plural of doofus doofi??

Elizabeth Wright#12 Elizabeth Wright11-26-2009 @ 10:25AM

I'm sure this lady knew what her cat was up to. All cat owners know this position. I'm just glad nothing more was exposed in the picture..lol. My sisters cat is so fat, he rolls when he tries to do that pose...

CINDY#13 CINDY11-26-2009 @ 10:48AM

I'm a cat lover to the core and have been around them all my life. And anyone that's been around cats as much as I have, KNOWS that this is nothing more than a pose a cat will take as they CLEAN THEMSELVES!! I really expected something other then what I got from this video.

surfquake66#14 surfquake6611-26-2009 @ 11:01AM

How is this bizzare? I ve seen cats do alot of amazing things, this is what you call normal bathing..

Janis#15 Janis11-26-2009 @ 11:10AM

Does anybody else think the woman in the video sounded drunk? When people are drunk, things that seem normal to the rest of us might seem like something new or unusual to them...because I can't IMAGINE that anybody that has ever seen, let alone OWN, a cat, would not have known what that pose meant.

I like to touch the bottom of my cat's foot when she does that. She's so ticklish that she shakes it, and it cracks me up!

butcherbaby#16 butcherbaby11-29-2009 @ 6:34AM

hahaha, i do the foot touichy thing too...i love it when their lil' toes are all spread out like a four lobed ace of clubs X-D

coolcatslol#17 coolcatslol11-26-2009 @ 11:19AM

Well, its is just a pose cats do to lick their tail. You can also tell this cat has worms so it probably does this often. This cat should be taken to the Vet right away to fix the worms(:

dobeinc#18 dobeinc11-27-2009 @ 2:10PM

What makes you think this kitty has worms? I see no outward signs of worms and usually only your vet can tell by examining a stool sample. I truly do not see any stools in this video.

Bay#19 Bay11-26-2009 @ 11:34AM

My cat sits like that all the time. Man, if I'd known a video of her doing that could go viral, I woulda done recorded it a long time ago. I just figured it was her being a dork!

Angela#20 Angela11-26-2009 @ 11:49AM

Appears the doped-up-sounding girls need to go sleepy.
