Last week, there was a dog in church. Now there's a kid on a bus. Of course, in this case by "kid" we mean "baby goat." This goat is awfully determined to get on that bus! Maybe it really wants to learn its reading, 'riting, and 'rithmetic. Or maybe it just misses its girl when she's at school all day. Either way, there's only three words to describe it: "Funny. Silly. Funny."

In these days of absurd "zero tolerance" rules carried to the extreme without the use of common sense, it's great to see the adults handle this with gentleness and a sense of humor.

While the goat trying to ride the bus is funny, I have to wonder why the owners don't have it in a fenced in yard. There is obviously a busy road in front of their house. I would hate for the goat to be hit and all those children witness it.

How cute is that??? We need more stories like that.....there is too much
negativity in this world....that story made me wish I was a child again!!!

THANK GOD THERE IS STILL A TOWN WHERE THE SCHOOL SYSTEM USES THERE HEAD. IN THIS DAY I EXPECTED THE SCHOOL TO BE PISSED, ALL KIDS GET SEVERL SHOTS FOR GOAT , BURN THE BUS, THE STUDENT SUSPENDED, AND MOM AND DAD ARRESTED OVER THE GOAT.

I had a goat a few years ago and she was a lot like that goat, very attached to humans. She would follow me anywhere, she was leash trained, and for a while we didn't even have a pen for her, she just slept on the front porch. She'd even jump in the car when we'd go somewhere. For the first few years of owning her, she was the only goat I had so that made it really easy for her and the family the attached.
