Dog beds, by their nature, have a major problem. Even the tidiest dog gets a little dirty, and most of them shed. By the time a dog has slept on on its dog bed, the bed is filthy. And who has the time to wash a dog bed every week?

Molly Mutt has the solution: cute and stylish dog duvets with "stuff sacks" that you fill with old clothing, towels and blankets you'd otherwise throw away. The duvets are easy to remove and wash, and if you buy a Molly Mutt DIY kit (which includes two duvets and a stuff sack), you'll always have a fresh duvet waiting to use while laundering the other.

I filled my Molly Mutt stuff sack with an old down comforter, a couple of pillows and the filling for an old dog bed. I barely had it on the ground before my pooch was lounging on it. At 60 pounds, she's no small pup, but the bed's medium/large size easily fit her.

The "upcycling" aspect appeals to my green sensibilities; the stuff sack is easy to, well, stuff; and the duvet material is durable yet soft. The fact that my dog didn't move from the bed for an entire evening told me all I needed to know about whether it's comfortable.

Molly Mutt duvets range from $20–$45, and the stuff sacks range from $10–$15. With such reasonable prices, Molly Mutt could very well solve any gift-giving woes you encounter this holiday season. Be sure to check back with Paw Nation, because we'll be giving away a Molly Mutt duvet soon!
