Are you nervous about clipping your canine's nails? Maybe you just need the right tool, like the QuickFinder Deluxe nail clipper.
We reviewed the QuickFinder last week, and found that it really works! It determines where it's safe to clip your dog's nails, so you'll never nick the quick again. And anybody who's ever done that knows just how big a deal that is! Also, the clipper itself works well, even on thick, hard nails, enabling you to clip like a pro (so long as you can keep your pooch still, that is).
This week, we're giving a QuickFinder Deluxe nail clipper away to a lucky reader. And, as always, entering is easy!
- To enter, leave a confirmed comment below telling us about your pet's quirkiest habits.
- The comment must be left before 5 p.m. ET on Friday, November 13, 2009.
- You may enter only once.
- One winner will be selected in a random drawing.
- One winner will receive one QuickFinder Deluxe nail clipper (Manufactured suggested retail $59.99 - $74.99).
- Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 and older.
- Click here for complete Official Rules. Winner will be notified by e-mail, so be sure to provide a valid address!

My dogs quirkest habit is to eat her food one piece at a time.
My good boy Ben, a Bearded Collie mix and 78lbs, quirkiest trick is he loves to bounce up and down when people come to the front door. His back legs never leave the ground and he looks like he is spring-activated :) His golden eyes glitter as he greets the newcomers. I've had several people comment that he looks like a mechanical toy when he does his bouncing thing :)
We have 2 black labs and every night around 7 pm one of my dogs goes to the stairs leading to our bedroom and barks. He waits until we turn on the stairway light, we rub his belly or scratch his back, and then he goes upstairs to bed. Our other lab gets in front of us around 8-9pm and barks, we let him out, then he waits for one of us to go upstairs then he comes up and jumps in to bed for the night.
I have a Jack Russel named "Jack". His quirkiest habit is to do doggy pushups. He stretches a lot in the morning, mid afternoon, and right before bed. He looks like he is doing doggy pushups. So much so that we have started counting for fun when he does them... you know.. 1 more, 2 more, 3 more etc.
We used to countdown cause he only ever did 6 or so in a row. We have started to count up though for fun because the counting seems to encourage him to do more. Recently he was up to 19 ! Its really funny to watch. I am going to have to videotape him.
Please enter me and my dog Jack! Thank you for the opportunity!
My dog's quirkiest habit is everytime he comes in from being outside he walks over to the bag of treats and nudges it with his nose. He won't move until he gets one.
Too many quirkies to mention with 5 rescue dogs and 3 cats, but lots of laughter all day long!
Our dog Moon barks with her mouth closed...we have no idea how she does this, but she actually does, and she walks around the house "grumbling". We also have a cat, Frankie, who feels the need to drag his water bowl, pulling it with one paw, then the other, all over the kitchen before he decides exactly where he wants to have a drink of water. Needless to say, we go through a lot of paper towels and have the cleanest floor in town from all the water he sloshes.
My dog likes to attack our Christmas tree, grab an ornament off the bottom branches, and run like a mad dog.
My shih-tzu Yoshi's quirkiest habit is to roll over on his back to have his tummy rubbed, but he has to be holding something in his mouth the whole time, be it a small ball or stuffed animal. Usually he ends so relaxed that he falls asleep with the toy still stuffed in his mouth!
My CKCS Wallace is an ear man...kind of icky when he tries to make me the recipient of his obsession! On the other hand, my other dog Beau has the cleanest ears in town!
I have 5 dogs, a toy fox terrier, chow mix, min pin, chihuahua mix and a german shephard. When I am trimming nails they sit and watch their "siblings" getting their nails done, then when I am done and need to get the next dog, they all run and hide in different rooms! The chihuahua mix hates getting his nails cut that he pees whenever I get the clipper near him, I have to put a towel across his privates so I don't get sprayed.
My cat Frankie's favorite toy is hair ties and trash. He has all of the cat toys ever made, but he prefers hair ties and any kind of wrapper.
99% of the time, Miss Sophia Loren faces north when she has to take a #2~
One of my corgis loves to stand on the back of the sofa and watch everything going on in the house. We secretly think that he thinks he's a cat. ;)
My Pitbull Indi won't lay on her bed if her blankie is crumpled up. I have to straighten out and tuck in the ends and then she'll lay on her bed. Otherwise, she'll lay on my bed with me.
Thank you for the giveaway. My dog loves to do tricks for rocks, crazy I know! Most dogs will do tricks for toys or food. Dexter will catch the rock and drop it, if he doesn't catch the rock, he will sniff around until he finds the exact rock thrown.
what about my dog isnt a quirk? she runs into walls, trys to escape with the delivery man, eats the windshield in my car. Runs away from home to live with the neighbors and so so much more
We have a new Lhasa Apso, Shih Tzu mix and the moment we met him he rolled over to have his tummy scratched. It was positivity adorable and love at first site.
My dog Mylee most quirkiest is hiding in the bath tub, during
thunder storms.
My cat attacks my cell phone when it rings.
