We love dogs and dancing. Put the two together? It's like magic!

This salsa-dancing dog has some impressive moves, no doubt. But the thing that makes us smile the most is how happy the dog is to be dancing. Our dogs wouldn't be nearly so jovial in a costume like this, but it doesn't look like there's anywhere in the world this pooch would rather be!

Hat tip to The Huffington Post for digging up this gem!

It was soooooooooo cute, ovious the dog is fine. when a dog tail wags softly he's fine. But when it's straight you better watch out. Please people lets try and be nice. Too many bad things are happening. Can some of us still have the little things that makes us feerl good without you stepping all over it.

LYSSA#4 LYSSA11-07-2009 @ 4:09PM

CUTE DOG DANCING, BUT SHE IS DANCING TO "MERENGUE" NOT SALSA. WILFRIDO VARGAS ( THE BAND PLAYING) WOULD BE SO PIST IF HE FOUND OUT SOME MEXICAN SAYS HIS SONG IS SALSA. BUT THEY DONTKNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SALSA AND MERENGUE ANYWAY.

mainflowerkv#5 mainflowerkv11-16-2009 @ 1:56PM

YOU'RE RIGHT, THIS IS MERENGUE, I AM DOMINICAN AND I TELL YOU GUYS, DON'T BE CONFUSED, THIS MUSIC IS FROM MY COUNTRY

ccwstauffer#6 ccwstauffer11-07-2009 @ 6:11PM

Lyssa, you just had to throw some negative kind of comment in about "Mexicans", didn't you? I would call you an idiot but that would be insulting to real idiots

Norma Loepp#7 Norma Loepp11-07-2009 @ 9:42PM

What a wonderful canine activity. I can appreciate the dedication involved in the training.

Gina Olivares#8 Gina Olivares11-13-2009 @ 4:05PM

that comment was uncalled for. Im Mexican American and I know the difference between the two as alot of us listen to it and love it. im sure you wouldnt like it if someone said negative comments about your ethnicity, hopefully your not Latino/Hispanic saying that that would really be sad...

That's stupid anybody think that dog is dancing ,but just going around and not know what 's going on , but subject to human stupidity or for personal gains of the "trainer " just imagine what that dog went trought to learn that ridiculous trick, I do not see any fun in any animal explotation. and even worst a TV program waist time in showing such abuse. shame on you !

Karen Ann, there's no need for that type of language here. Maybe you should grow up a little bit. Honestly though, there's something wrong with you if you have devoted your life to twirling a dog around.

Echo#11 Echo11-07-2009 @ 5:01PM

Umm... are you SURE this dog is happy? I mean... is it good for the dog to stand up on it's hind legs like that?
Honestly, I'm more of a cat person, so I wouldn't be able to tell if it IS good for the dog or not.

karen ann#12 karen ann11-07-2009 @ 6:48PM

The dogs tail is wagging and she even looks like she might be smiling. I think she is..... What a great pet trick and what joy this brings, if others cant feel happiness or joy in their heart when they see this their is clearly something the matter with them. Not the trainer. And as I am just as guilty of spending my time watching these videos, reading the comments and replying.... we al shpouldl ask ourselves the same question " Dont we have a life? Can we be doing something more productive with our time? Back to the very cute Dancing Dog,, I love animals and the video was happiness for a moment in time. and who care what the origin of music it was...

Kim#13 Kim11-07-2009 @ 7:00PM

I can guarantee that dog is happy. Also, the standing on the hind legs is more about balance. As far as physical effort, it is not more strenuous than when a dog is running or jumping (think frisbee). There are many breeds of dogs that are happiest with a *job* to do and no job is better than one that is interacting with the person they love and pleasing them.

peggi#14 peggi11-07-2009 @ 9:46PM

the dog is having a blast, mouth is slightly open and relaxed, tail is wagging gently. they could take some points in freestyle competition!

Jrtmom#15 Jrtmom11-07-2009 @ 5:31PM

Absolutely adorable. That dog dance better than Tom Delay did on DWTS!! I give her a 10.

Kathy#16 Kathy11-09-2009 @ 5:05PM

I think derrel needs to stop calling people retarded. Also i would like for him to try explaining what social retardation is, and derrel, you are the one who mispelled god in a few of your last comments. i just had to see if you were one of those people who need to tell everyone they are retarded to make your self feel smart and you actually keep a surprising amount of evidence to that on your comment log. poor thing.

karen ann#18 karen ann11-07-2009 @ 6:54PM

LOL!!!

gary#19 gary11-07-2009 @ 6:35PM
