Our Pet Project: Paw Nation's New Look!

You know that adorable grin your pet gives you when he's really, really happy? That's the effect we were going for when we designed Paw Nation's new look -- pure pet bliss.

In addition to our new logo and layout, you'll see a few additional features. Check out the right rail of the main page for a new way to view our addictive galleries and a peek into our Flickr pool, where you can upload your pet's pic and see it on Paw Nation right now. And don't forget to click over to our Twitter and Facebook pages to join our community of pet lovers!

If you're looking for one of your favorite categories, just scroll over the "All Categories" tab at the top of the page and find your way to cats, dogs, pets in the news, Ask A Vet, funny animal videos and more!

Look forward to more cool features -- including a customizable logo (cat lovers, we're talking to you!) and a chance to name our new mascot -- in the coming weeks.

Found in Nambia, the venomous Dwarf Puff Adder hides from the hot desert sun by burying itself in the sand, where only its eyes show.

Often resembling a rock, the brown colored Stonefish camouflages itself perfectly in the ocean. With 13 venomous dorsal spines on its back, the Stonefish can cause tissue damage and respiratory distress, which can lead to cardiovascular shock if left untreated.
