German Shepherds are beautiful creatures with big hearts and tons of loyalty. I just lost my 11 year old two weeks ago and I still grieve. He was a gentle soul with a wonderful disposition. Never once did he growl or show his teeth at anyone.. He loved kids and adults alike. But, he was extremely loyal to me as well.. I will miss him forever. RIP Barron...

My condolences for your loss Vicki.

I used to raise German Shepherds and they are fantastic dogs. I still grieve over every loss, as they were some of the best dogs I have ever had. The most loyal, the smartest, and most versatile dog you can find. I would recommend them to almost anyone looking for a good dog, regardless of what they expect from their companion. Best dogs in the world.

Thank you Tara.
They are the best dogs in the world... I have had three that have past and it hurts so much to lose them. They are a part of your family. My three children grew up with German Shepherds and they all love the breed as well.. When God made them, he knew what he was doing!!!

Bless all of them. I just inherited a 5 year old female (long hair) and she is so happy to have a loving home. Been a Shepherd owner for many years and every time one moves along I get another one. You have to own one to appreciate their "love". Looking into their eyes they talk to you. They are so proud. I wish I could extend a high-five hand to every owner reading this. My life is fulfilled with love now that I have another one.

If any one knows where I can get another one kinda cheep that would be great .Jake was the best friend I have ever had, He would listen to anything I said and seemed to understand me . He was poisoned in June 24. I'm still not over it.
