You may be wondering why we're all here. Perhaps we should just come out and say it.
You have a drinking problem.
Cats are supposed to drink out of little bowls; they aren't supposed to drink water they purposely had poured on their heads. And that's why you have to stop. We're here because we care about you.

Does this cat like to swim also?
LOL Good one Sandbur. That is such strange behavior for a cat! I wonder why cats do like the faucet, anyone know?
Cats like to drink water that is fresh and moving. Of course, if it belongs to someone else, whether human or animal, they prefer that over their own, also
This is to funny! I have a cat who will go in the bathroom and rub his face on the cold knob in the tub to turn it on, I have come home before to have the water running full force. I just bought them a cat water fountain but Logan still loves the tub!
A cat that craves water that badly may be diabetic. Have it checked by the vet.
My son's cat (mancoon) not sure if that is spelled correctly, actually gets INTO the bathtub with him. (not real sanitary i know) if i shut the bathroom door, loverboy , (the cat) sits outside the bathroom and just howls. Anyone who has experienced one of these cats knows that sound just goes right through you.He also uses the toilet for a litter pan . (he still wont flush when done) ha ha ha.He is an awesome cat and he simply enjoys water. No health problems, though the diabetes tip was a good one. Thanks for the advice.
luveator, does there really have to be something wrong with the cat. what he did just might be part of his personality. I had this cat one that sat in a low-hanging brance of a tree. when someone passes under with a cap on the cat grabs the cap. had another that played blackjack and chewed the card if he lost. if he had diabetes I am sure the cat will find someway to tell its owner. that little furball didn't seem to mind getting a little wet though
My cat lets the water drip on him in the tub. Its an every morning event. I call it his shower. He gets done and hops up on the counter for me to dry his head. And he drinks the water from there too, even though I have a pet fountain.
This is just too funny!!! I am the owner of two cats that love to drink from the sink, but not like this!!! Most cats can't stand to get their heads wet. That just cracks me up how this cat just lets the water run all over it!!! Too Cute!!!
