Six finalists in the Creative Grooming Contest at the SuperZoo convention in Las Vegas earlier this month clipped, dyed, and pruned their dogs into visual representations of everything from Pac-Man to the garden of Eden.
These aren't the only folks who like to shave and dye their dogs. Aubrey O'Day is known for putting foils in her Maltese's fur, and who could forget these insane poodle transformations and China's latest dyeing trend.
Check out the gallery below to see their creative results and cast your vote for who you think should have won. Find out who actually took the big prize after the jump.

Crufts Dog Show Judges on Alert for Competitors in Makeup

Nothing about my work is silly or ridiculous. I groomed my dog for this contest last month and he is already back to his old plain white self, loving life in beautiful sunny so Cal. And if you think taking exellent care of my pets is wasteful and unnecessary then you are the one whose mental state should be questioned. I have 6 dogs and the only time they ever have to see the vet is when they go for their regular monthly teeth cleaning (which by the way only costs $16 because I do it every month). I even administer my own vaccines, other than rabies. Since you know nothing about me personally, I don't know how you can claim I am wasteful or that I spend $ unnecessarily. I have healthy happy dogs that will live long lives, which in my book is the ultimate goal of any one who loves their pet. As for your comparing me to a prostitute, THAT is cruel and unnecessary, not to mention completely irrelevant to the subject at hand . There is no comparison between dog grooming and prostitution.
