With so many cat products hitting shelves every week, we asked our favorite kitty-centric blog, Moderncat, to roundup their faves in a bi-monthly column we're calling Moderncat's Modern Finds.

Cats find corrugated cardboard totally irresistible. Not only is it great for kitty to scratch and nap on, it's eco-friendly as well! Cardboard cat items are made from recycled materials, so once your feline has loved it to pieces, you can just toss it in the recycling bin one more time. Check out these incredible cardboard creations from some of the top designers of cat products.

What cat doesn't like cardboard. I have the cool scratchers and two Caboodles for my brood. They play in the Caboodle all the time and love clawing the scratcher. These thing look good in my small modern (ok, lots of ikea) apartment. Love moderncat, it's where I learned about these products.

I love cardboard for kitties. They enjoy shredding and laying on it. Have to be honest although I really like the designer cat stuff look I wouldn't pay more than $60.00 or so for something with a limited life span (only as long as it takes for them to destroy it).

Are there any health risks associated with my cat swallowing the cardboard that she scratches?
