Snuggie for Dogs picture

Everyone grab your Snuggie! Photo: YouTube

Does your dog stare jealously at you as you effortlessly flip through a magazine and chat on the phone on a chilly night -- all while bundled up in your Snuggie? Well, your dog's day has come.

You may have thought you'd heard the last from the makers of the Snuggie, but alas the infamous company is back. Laughing off rumors that they stole the wearable blanket idea from rival, Slanket, the Snuggie has moved on, and by move on we obviously mean make a move on you dog.

Cashing in on the idea that pet owners love to dress up their dogs to look just like them, Snuggie has designed -- what else -- a wearable blanket for dogs. So go ahead, enshroud yourself and your pooch in gaudy blue fleece while you sit on the couch watching reruns of Two and a Half Men.

Will cat Snuggies be next? We can only hope.

My dog is a Siberian Husky and he is the only dog that has a human brain due to a transplant I performed on him, the only thing he cant do at this time is talk due to the fact his vocal cords are different from our's but I'm just about ready to transplant those to, so that I can talk to him.
That's all folks.

Snuggies for dogs???!!! What has this world come to?!

Haha. That's pretty much what I said the first time I saw a regular snuggy commercial. Than a commercial for snuggies in animal print.

If you're cold and don't know how to use a blanket, people, put on a sweater and some sweatpants and socks. You look like less of an arse, it's multi-use and you get a lot more bang for your buck.

lord have mercy.... !!

I already gave my snuggie to my dogs. I didn't actually like it so I put it in their crate and they love it. Maybe I will get them their own snuggies. Who knows?

anita#10 anita8-01-2009 @ 1:15AM

dogs have fur....they don't need that ugly backwards robe! LMAO

John#11 John8-01-2009 @ 1:21AM

Dogs have a natural fur coat. I'm not putting this on 3 dogs just to go out for a pee. Plus they play hard. I'd be afraid they would get caught on something. On the 2 or 3 really cold days we get in So Fla, I throw and old electric blanket in their bed.
And that snuggle for humans looks like you could break your neck if you had to run quickly.
If you are building a new house, invest the few extra bucks and get heated bathroom floors. What a difference it makes.

That is so stupid.yet people will be dumb enough to buy it.. I've seen worst on dogs.. It's crazy how people forget they are not human..lol

Kit#13 Kit8-01-2009 @ 5:17AM

Our cat has long fur, so he does not need a Snuggie. He would probably feel insulted and try to fight his way out of that contraption!

my little pomeranian sleeps with me , so im her snuggle blanket

spoiledrottenpomeranian#15 spoiledrottenpomeranian8-03-2009 @ 6:48PM

Why would you make your dog wear clothing INSIDE? Don't people have their heat on? As for outside clothing, a dog who isn't used to wearing clothes will not wear that either (like the commercial suggests). And about shoving your dog into an outfit.. stop being in denial about how huge your "teacup" dog grew and purchase the correct size!
