Baboons Go Bananas For Underpants

Baboons at the most popular exhibit of an English tourist attraction have turned into quite the pranksters of late.

Tourists drive their vehicles through the exhibits at Knowsley Safari Park to observe animals within their "natural" habitat. Until recently the popular baboon exhibit has been enjoyed without incident, but the apes have taught themselves a new trick. Seems they've learned how to break into rooftop luggage units, and now that they know how to do it, they're quite keen on using their new talent to steal tourists' underpants.

"When the first luggage box was broken into we didn't really take an awful lot of notice," General Manager David Ross told the UK's Daily Telegraph. "We just thought it was a one-off incident with a faulty box or lock. However, when the problem kept happening, it quickly became clear that the baboons had acquired an unfortunate new skill."
